The Smyrna Public Library was awarded the Georgia Library Association's 2005 Eason Associates Program Award on October 13, 2005. The Eason Associates Program Award is given to recognize the library that develops and implements exceptional children's reading enrichment programming during the award year. The award also recognizes the outstanding achievements of the Smyrna Public Library's Youth Services department. FOSL extends sincere congratulations to Youth Services Director Lisa Tarr and Sarah Lightsey for their great planning, innovation, hard work and excellence in service to Smyrna's children.
