Special Program

Eclipse Party

Smyrna Public Library
Outdoors on Lawn

2 pm to 3 pm
August 21, 2017

All ages welcome!

Join us for the astronomical event of the year! On August 21, 2017, North America will view a total eclipse of the sun.

The last time a total solar eclipse was visible across the entire contiguous United States was during the June 8, 1918 eclipse.

We're camping out on the lawn outside Smyrna Library to view the big event.

We'll have crafts and games for the whole family and free eclipse glasses to make our viewing safe.

Can't make it?  Watch it LIVE on our Facebook page throughout the hour!
